I have a two-year deferment before I go to the Booth School of Business, so I’m going to spend it traveling around the US (and hopefully the world!), working at and learning about different theatres.

What would your spirit animal be?

A Tribble.

If you could be any Spice Girl, who would you be and why?

I’ve been told I should be Scary Spice, but I’m not sure if that’s because I’m loud or because I’m not white…

I once swore I’d never go to business school. *sigh*

I usually spend my entire Sundays watching football. (Go Buccaneers!)

Now we have our fabulous new Education Intern: Blaize. Let’s see what sparks her interest. Get it? Sparks? Blaize? Blaze? Get it?

Favorite memory of your About Face Experience:

I haven’t been here long, but so far, the one that sticks out is going through the prop room with Mic, trying to find gendered objects for the next youth workshop. Highlights include: a sherlock style pipe and a leopard print dressing gown with marabou cuffs.

“puff, puff, puff, harumph.

poetry, i? bah humbug.

i don’t even know how many syllables are supposed to go in the third line of a haiku. tell me, please, if i have included too many.”

Back to school for one final semester, and then… a great, mysterious adventure.

What would your spirit animal be?

Some kind of caterpillar-wolf hybrid.

If you could be any Spice Girl, who would you be and why?

Well, Scary Spice. She had the best hair, and the best animal-print outfits. But really, as long as I don’t have to be Sporty Spice, we’re good. I always had to be Sporty Spice.

Last year, my mom and I created/published a photo-illustrated faerie story, with some friends as models. It’s called Greenward Turn: A Faerie Romp, about the Gnarlicorn Faerie Clan (created/published is one word, and parenthetical comments don’t count).

Excuse the hiatus. Things have be crrrrazaaay with the kick-off of our 15th Anniversary Season. Alas, we are back with a few new faces (don’t worry, Veena is not one of them).

We will start this salute with our lovely Artistic Intern [and Casting Administration Intern for our in-house casting company Two Birds Casting (www.twobirdscasting.com)] Demy.

I was walking out of a store and I pushed the door open with my back. My bra got caught, snapped back and hit me while simultaneously slamming the door

I love reality TV. Currently I am watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is my favorite of the the Housewives. For the past 2 weeks I have not been able to get “Tardy for the Party” out of my head.

A Few New Faces

While we were away on business, our education intern Mic and some foreign girl named Veena Schnitzelle filled in for us. Um. We’ll try not to be away anytime in the near future, but they were right about one thing. Come to our season kickoff party at 6PM September 22 @ Sidetrack! See you there!
